President's Welcome

—Becca Roy Vermont State University - Class of 2026

Thank you for visiting the EATA Student Delegation page. We truly appreciate your support for both the EATA and the Delegation. My name is Rebecca Roy, and I am honored to have been appointed as the President of the EATA Student Delegation for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Every two years, students from each state in Districts 1 and 2 are appointed by their state association president to serve as state representatives to the EATA Student Delegation. I represent the state of Vermont as I am a second-year student in the Vermont State University Castleton Master of Athletic Training program. Through this experience, we are a provided with the opportunity to represent the students of our state, meet other future leaders of the athletic training profession, and learn from many well-accomplished health care professionals and leaders within the profession.

Our goals for this year include increasing collaboration with other student leaders at the state, district, and national levels, and facilitating ways to enhance student communication within the EATA. As our committee has continued to evolve, our delegates now have even more leadership opportunities, so that they are more involved directly with EATA Committees and other student groups.

This year’s student program at the EATA Convention has been created by the students, for the students. Each of the individuals on our delegation have dedicated a substantial amount of hard work, passion, and creativity into making this student program the best that it can be. We are extremely excited to share our hard work with you all!

Thank you again for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you at the 77th Annual EATA Convention at the Westin Boston Waterfront, in Boston, MA, January 9-12, 2026.
